Circle of Friends – A Summer Series at The Water Wheel

We are pleased to introduce Circle of Friends, a new 4-week summer series at The Water Wheel, facilitated by Spiritual Director Lisa Hudkins.

Lisa brings a wealth of experience in spiritual direction. She has led retreats at Wisdom House and Montfort House. In addition, she teaches the Internship class at the Spiritual Life Center. Her gentle and thoughtful approach creates space for meaningful connection and reflection.

Each gathering will include time to engage with a poem or article of spiritual significance, followed by silent reflection and shared responses. Through guided conversation, Lisa will help cultivate a trusting and supportive community—one where participants feel safe to share their thoughts, insights, and experiences.

The group will meet in our peaceful studio space, where participants are invited to settle in comfortably using bolsters and blankets for seating. If a chair is needed, please reach out and we can accommodate you.

This series is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and connect with others in a spirit of openness and care.
